Politecnico di Milano, Campus Bovisa
Via Candiani 72 – Building B1 – Aula F.lli Castiglioni

Carlo Palazzani was born in Brescia on July 2nd, 1980.

Having developed from a young age a passion for drawing as well as a fondness for cars, he matured during his high school years the project of dedicating himself to design and sculpture. He started his secondary-level education at the Brescia Academy of Fine Arts before transferring after one year to Milan to study industrial design, soon realizing that his true interest lied in a specialization in car design.

In 2001, pursuing this goal led him to Turin, the Italian capital of the automobile, where he would live and work for the next 15 years. Indeed, after completing his studies at the renowned IED design school, he became a full-time employee at Pininfarina as of 2005.

In the course of his ten years working for the famous Italian design house, he contributed actively to the design of numerous Ferrari models including the 458 Italia, 458 Spider, FF, F12berlinetta, California T and the 2013 Sergio concept car.

Since 2015, Carlo Palazzani has been working directly for Ferrari’s internal design studio at the company’s headquarters in Maranello, where he has completed work on the latest model in the Ferrari GT range, the 2016 GTC4lusso.

In May 2018 he and his team has won the Villa d’Este concourse with the Ferrari SP38, a one off based on 488 Gtb.
