Our goal was to design a 3-volumes 4-seats sedan that could reach a younger target than the usual one. Thus, we used aerodynamics to reshape the volumes and add features that could be more appealing in the eye of the younger users.

Audi e-Nova is a car with reduced height from the ground that gives a slender appearance. The high aerodynamic efficiency is guaranteed by several aerodynamic devices: together with standard splitters, air curtains and air breathers comes the most important and eye-catching one, an extra rear volume designed to work in two different positions. During urban use and parking maneuvers it disappears completely, in order to reduce the car length and improve driving agility. On the other hand, during non-urban high speed travels it comes out and help directing the air flow for power saving purposes.
